What is FSC?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental organization established in 1994 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. Over the years, FSC has become the most respected and widespread forest certification system globally. Through its pioneering certification system, FSC empowers businesses and consumers to make informed choices by selecting wood, paper, and other forest products that support responsible forestry practices.
